Air Conditioning Maintenance and Service opened in 1993 with founders Don Hinson and Mark Powers serving the Grand Strand.  Focused on personable customer relations, ACMS began servicing commercial property and building trusting relationships with their customers

Mark grew up in the HVAC, plumbing and electrical family business owned by his grandfather J.L Powers in Bennettsville, SC.  He is a 1988 graduate of Northwestern Technical College.  After college Mark worked from 1989-1993 with W.B. Guimarin in Columbia, SC.  Mark and Don formed ACMS here on the Grand Strand in 1993.

Allen McCormick

Allen McCormick joined the ACMS team as a college intern in the summer of 1996.  Upon completion of Florence-Darlington Technical College HVAC program, Allen began full time service technician work with ACMS.

Rich Jones

Rich Jones attended Horry Georgetown Technical College and joined ACMS as a full time service technician in 2005.
